Detailed comparison of nut creams
As coconut lovers , we consider Coconella, produced by the well-known company Czech Virus, to be the best nut butter on the market.
Besides the fact that it tastes absolutely fabulous, it also has a great composition. Believe it or not, it contains only four ingredients - coconut, almonds, high quality whey isolate and white chocolate. No palm oil, no stabilisers and no flavourings can be found in this product.
Benefits:
- Absolutely amazing taste
- Ingredients that are hard to rival
- The protein source is a well-chosen whey isolate
- Contains no palm oil, stabilisers, flavourings or other undesirable ingredients.
Disadvantages:
- Butter is highly addictive
Who makes the butter:
Coconella is made by the well-known company Czech Virus, made famous by the controversial bodybuilder Filip Grznár and his former sparring partner Pavel Beran. Since 2012, when the first idea was born in the minds of the creators, the company has been taking pride in quality products without unnecessary chemistry.
Among the sponsored athletes, besides Filip and Pavel, there are also Aleš Bursa, Katka Kyptová and Jiří Tkadlčík. All raw materials used by Czech Virus in the production of its products originate in the EU.
What we say about the ingredients:
As we have already stated, this butter contains only four basic ingredients. The largest percentage is coconut, which makes up 41% of the product. Right behind it are almonds at 33%, which are a great source of protein and many micronutrients. 16% is white Belgian chocolate and the rest is instant whey isolate.
This is an absolutely exemplary composition that we think every healthy-looking butter should contain.
How we liked the butter:
If you love Rafaela, you'll love Coconella. You'll notice the distinct taste of almond and coconut in your mouth first. After a while, the white chocolate starts to melt, and that's what causes a complete orgasm for your taste buds. Although many may be afraid that the protein will spoil the taste of the butter, you won't even notice it. Likewise, in the case of Coconella, you won't have your mouth glued shut, which some peanut butters do.
Final rating:
Aside from the slightly higher price, which is offset by the amazing taste experience, Coconella has perhaps only one drawback. From the first bite, you won't be able to put down the spoon until there's at least a little Coconella left. We loved it and can't imagine tasting anything better.
Second place goes to Big Boy Butter's Salted Caramel. This butter is absolutely delectable in taste and it is more than clear that one spoonful will not be enough for you.
The flavour of the peanuts perfectly complements the distinct taste of the salted caramel itself and together they create a gourmet experience you'll look forward to as soon as you put down the spoon.
Benefits:
- Absolutely fabulous taste
- Optimal pack size
- Contains no palm oil
Disadvantages:
- Compared to the test winner , it has less protein and more sugars
- Slightly higher in price
Who makes the butter:
This peanut butter cream is made by the popular Czech company Big Boy Butter, which specializes not only in peanutPeanut Butter, but also sells protein bars, freeze-dried fruit, and whole nuts. The company prides itself on quality, keeping stock to a minimum and producing most of its butters up to in response to an order, so you can be 100% sure of the freshness and quality of the butter you order.
What we say about the ingredients:
The base of Salted Caramel is peanuts, representing just under 65% of the butter. This is a considerably cheaper raw material than hazelnuts, which is why we find the price of the butter slightly higher compared to Coconella. The 30% is caramel chocolate, which is of course sweetened with caramelised sugar, and the butter itself is then sweetened further with coconut sugar. To make the salted caramel live up to its name, Himalayan salt has also been used.
The composition is frankly not as good as Coconella, howeverit still contains no palm oil or other unsuitable and controversial ingredients. And a little sugar didn't kill anyone, did it?
How we liked the butter:
A great butter that had an absolutely perfect consistency and we couldn't tear ourselves away after the first taste. It may be a little sweeter for my taste, but it tastes really good. The salt is not as pronounced as I expected, which is a plus from my point of view. If you like caramel and want to experience an intense and amazing taste, this Big Boy butter is the best possible choice.
Final rating:
Taste-wise, a well-tuned butter that doesn't create a sticky mass in your mouth that most people find objectionable. It's lovely to eat, tastes good, but I have to admit that it got overdone fairly quickly. For this reason, I consider the 250g pack to be optimal, I would have to overdo it by half a kilo. The ingredients are a little bit worse than in the case of Coconella, but sometimes a little sinning is not a bad thing and the great taste makes up for everything.
In third place we must not forget the butters from the popular company Lucky Alvin. We chose hazelnut and milk chocolate as the best.
Although it may seem a bit "minimalist," as you won't find any coconut, no salted caramel, or other goodies, the butter does have a lot to offer. Minimal simple sugars, quality ingredients, and last but not least, an amazing taste that you'll love.
Benefits:
- The absolute minimum of simple sugars (only 2.6g per 100g of butter)
- Famous taste
- Hazelnuts from Turkey and Belgian chocolate make a perfect combination
- Two pack sizes available
Disadvantages:
- Contains maltitol, which is laxative in large quantities
Who makes the butter:
Lucky Alvin is a Czech company that makes peanut butters that are extremely popular in America. The only difference is that you won't find any low quality ingredients, solidified fats, added salt, stabilizers or flavorings in these butters. All the products of this company are based on quality and purity, you can choose from 100% butters, butters with Belgian chocolate, or "sugarfree" variants.
What we say about the ingredients:
A full 80% of the butter is made up of hazelnuts from Turkey, while the remaining 20% is Belgian milk chocolate sweetened with maltitol. As a result, the butter manages to have a good flavour while being low in simple carbohydrates.
Unfortunately, you have to be careful when consuming it, because in larger quantities you risk gas and intestinal problems.
How we liked the butter:
If you're a fan of classic flavors where you can't go wrong, this is for you. The butter tastes like a more natural version of Nutella without the overly sweet aftertaste. The distinct flavor of hazelnuts is complemented by the subtle caress of milk chocolate and it's really worth it. I cannot but highly recommend it.
Final rating:
The butter feels natural and the taste is "ordinary" in a good way, so you definitely won't wish it away. The combination of hazelnuts and chocolate is a classic that will please even the most self-conscious individuals; I haven't met anyone who didn't like it. And when you add in the great ingredients, there's nothing to worry about and one of the best butters in the world.
Edit 12.10.2019 - We have just released an in-depth review on several of Lucky Alvin's nut butters, you can read it here.
On the fourth place of our ranking we couldn't leave out another product from Czech Virus. This time it is Caramel Caramel, again a wonderful butter in terms of taste, which retains a great composition.
The butter this time consists of peanuts, extremely high quality whey isolate, coconut oil, white chocolate, Himalayan salt and caramel flavour.
Benefits:
- Good taste that will please every caramel lover
- Lower price compared to Coconella
- Good composition
- Does not contain palm oil
Disadvantages:
- This time Czech Virus uses peanuts, not almonds like Coconella
- Contains aroma
As we have already indicated in the introduction, the butter is made up of peanuts, extremely high quality rawpeanut isolate, coconut oil, white chocolate, Himalayan salt and caramel flavouring. This composition is undoubtedly great, however, from my point of view, it definitely falls short of Coconella's composition.
Firstly, the almonds are replaced with cheaper peanuts - I understand that they are a better choice in terms of taste, however, almonds are a better food in my opinion. But we'll elaborate on that at the end of the rankings. Secondly, it contains flavouring, which I certainly don't see as a fault as making caramel butter is a rather thankless task. To use caramel is to get the nutritional values wrong, not to use it means having to add flavourings. But personally, when I have a choice, I prefer butter without it.
How we liked our butter:
With Big Boy Butter's Salted Caramel on our list, I can afford a little comparison. After the first taste, the Caramela is not nearly as distinctive, but it is still a goodto more than half the simple sugars. After a while, however, you get used to the taste and don't crave it as quickly, plus the smallerThe taste of the other sub-ingredients comes out better with fewer sugars.
Final rating:
A clear choice for caramel lovers. I find it quite difficult to compare it to Big Boy Butter's Salted Caramel, but I don 't find Caramel to be any different. and frankly, even though it does contain salt, you can taste it far less in the butter. The ingredients are "inferior" compared to Coconella, but it still contains no controversial ingredients and I can only recommend it.
Here's why every white chocolate lover should pay attention. Protein spread butter is made up of nothing but cashews, coconut, protein concentrate and white chocolate. An absolutely great formula containing no unnecessary stuff, plus a great taste that absolutely everyone will no doubt succumb to.
Benefits:
- Very good composition
- Great taste
- Pleasant price
- Free of palm oil and preservatives
Disadvantages:
- Protein source is whey protein with no manufacturing specification
Who makes the butter:
LifeLike is the family business of Libor Mačalik and his wife Vendula, who were lacking quality butters on our market. This company combines quality, honesty and above all freshness, which is why you will find in the repertoire of this company not only peanutbut also many other nut butters, often combined with coconut or delicious chocolate.
What we say about the ingredients:
Again, the base of the butter consists of just 4 ingredients - cashews, coconut, protein concentrate and white chocolate. I find this composition extremely good, even though the butter has a slightly higher simple carbohydrate content. However, I am also bothered by the unspecified method of making the protein. For example, Czech Virus clearly states that it is a CFM isolate. This bothers me a bit in the case of Protein spread.
How we liked the butter:
The first thing you notice upon opening is the very thick consistency. It's up to each of you if you take that as an advantage. The coconut is the most prominent of all the ingredients, which may be too intense for some. I personally would put up with a less pronounced taste. The cashews are a perfect fit here and soften the taste of the coconut. All in all, it makes a very hilarious combination with a slightly exotic touch.
Final rating:
A good quality and tasty butter, but unfortunately it is the unspecified production method of the protein that spoils my overall impression. In the case of whey drying, the proteins are significantly denatured and it is It is the cheapest possible process, whereas CFM is more expensive but much better.
Otherwise, however, there is nothing to fault the butter, it is very well priced, tastes great and does not contain unnecessary or controversial ingredients.
Vilgain's Cheat Spread is one of the tastiest nut butters on the market. In addition to the excellent taste, they are also decorated with a very good composition, in which you will not find any palm oil or other ingredients that have nothing to do in quality butter. Unfortunately, you will have to pay quite a bit more for this product, which is why it didn't rank any higher.
Pros:
- Great taste
- Quality ingredients
- No palm oil or stabilizers
Disadvantages:
- High price
Who makes the butter:
The company behind Vilgain Cheat Spread is Aktin, which probably needs no introduction to anyone. The Vilgain brand was created due to the company's expansion abroad and began appearing on all products that until recently had the Aktin name on them. But apart from the name, nothing has changed and all Vilgain products boast the same quality that customers have come to expect in the past.
What we say about the ingredients:
Cheat Spread's ingredients vary quite a bit from flavor to flavor, so it's a bit challenging to review it at this quick pace. In most cases, we come across almonds, with hazelnuts in two flavors and even peanuts and cashews once. Milk protein always serves as the protein source and organic ingredients are used for flavouring, and you'll also find Himalayan salt everywhere. But most importantly, none of the flavours contain any stabilisers, palm oil or other controversial substances.
How we liked our butter:
In terms of taste, we really have nothing to fault here. It basically doesn't matter which flavour you choose, because you get an absolutely perfect taste experience every time. The taste is always perfectly balanced and the butters taste exactly as you would expect. In this context, however, the big drawback is that the manufacturer does not offer larger packsbecause the 200 grams disappear in no time, so it's probably a good idea to buy some to stock up on.
Final assessment:
Vilgain Cheat Spread is an absolute taste bomb that is definitely worth trying. The downside, however, is its high price. It is definitely not a butter that most people will be able to afford to go for any too often. When choosing a flavour, it pays to pay attention to the nutritional values, as for example almonds with whitealmonds with coconut have a much higher saturated fat content than the rest of the flavours. In principle, however, there's not much to fault in terms of composition, and the same goes for taste. So if you don't mind paying a little extra for nut butters, you'll definitely come into your own.
If you're a lover of the popular Kinder Bueno, you're guaranteed to find your own. Keto Bueno butter from the KetoDiet brand is almost indistinguishable from this candy in terms of taste. But it will also impress you with its very good composition based on high-quality ingredients.
Benefits:
- Excellent taste
- High-quality ingredients
- No added sugar or palm oil
- Gentle consistency
Disadvantages:
- Contains few nuts compared to competitors
- Higher price
Who makes the butter:
The KetoDiet brand primarily focuses on the manufacture and sale of diet food packs (learn more in our review of the KetoDiet Intense diet pack). It is particularly characterized by the very wide range and great taste of its products. However, its products are far from being only for those who follow a strict keto diet. Thanks to their high protein and low carbohydrate content, they can be enjoyed as a quick and easy snack by anyone.
What we say about the ingredients:
Keto Bueno is based on roasted hazelnut kernels (55%), xylitol, skimmedEdited milk powder, whey concentrate and sunflower lecithin. While the nut content is not as high as most competing butters, this lack is at least partially compensated by the low calorie content (521 kcal per 100 g). In addition, only quality ingredients are found in the composition, so there is little to fault it in the final analysis.
How we liked the butter:
The flavour of this butter could really be described in a nutshell as Kinder Bueno. There is a distinct hazelnut flavour in the butter, which I think is a big plus. At the same time, it should be mentioned that the butter is not over-sweetened and the flavour is very well balanced. It also does not taste artificial at all, which can sometimes happen with similar flavours.
Final rating:
Keto Bueno is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a great tasting peanut butter made with quality ingredients. Its only drawback is its relatively high price. Compared to competing products, you'll have to pay quite a bit more for Keto Bueno, which is not exactly ideal, even given its lower nut content. But if you don't mind the higher price, this butter is worth a try. You can read more about this butter in our separate review of KetoDiet's protein butters.
The very first butter, with which Czech Virus came to the market and thus made a complete breakthrough, must not be overlooked in our ranking.
The balanced blend of peanuts and hazelnuts, protein, chocolate and coconut oil makes this my a healthy alternative to supermarket nut creams, which also tastes much better in comparison.
Benefits:
- A natural taste you'll love
- Contains premium whey protein and other quality ingredients
- No added sugar or palm oil
Disadvantages:
- Highly addictive butter
- Strong peanut flavor
Who makes the butter:
Proteinella is made by the well-known company Czech Virus, made famous by the controversial bodybuilder Filip Grznár and his former sparring partner Pavel Beran.
This butter is made up of peanuts, hazelnuts, premium protein and peanut oil. This is a very good butter with a very good texture, which frankly gives it a great texture. The ingredients are very good, our overall impression is hopefully not spoiled and I must admit that I managed to eat the whole half-kilogram package in two days. So if you're thinking of buying one, take two.
How we liked the butter:
As a downside, we mention the very distinct peanut taste, which can be quite distracting for some. I like peanut butter, though, and didn't mind the taste at all. From my point of view, on the contrary, it perfectly complements the hazelnuts, with which it forms a tasty mixture. The butter is natural, it doesn't taste artificial, and I have to say that from my point of view it outperforms the over-sweetened and unnatural Nutella on all fronts.
Final rating:
Proteinela is without a doubt more than a good choice for anyone who likes natural taste and quality ingredients. It has a great consistency that makes it really spreadable, so you can use it on baked goods, for example. I definitely recommend this butter to anyone who doesn't like "special" ingredients.flavours, but are happy with plain nuts, peanuts, chocolate and protein. Then I'm almost sure you won't be disappointed.
The seventh place in our comparison belongs to another butter from Big Boy Butter, and this onebut this time it's an ingenious combination of fine peanuts and high quality white chocolate.
In addition to its good ingredients, the butter also tastes great, is suitable for baking and thanks to its greatThe consistency is also great for spreading on pastries or various protein pancakes.
Benefits:
- Excellent and easy to spread butter
- Contains nothing but white chocolate and peanuts
- No palm oil, stabilisers or flavourings
- Very nice price
Disadvantages:
- Relatively high sugar content
Who makes the butter:
This peanut butter cream is made by the popular Czech company Big Boy Butter, which specializes not only in peanutPeanut Butter, but also sells protein bars, freeze-dried fruit, and whole nuts. The company prides itself on quality, keeping stock to a minimum and producing most of its butters up to in response to an order, so you can be 100% sure of the freshness and quality of the butter you order.
What we say about the ingredients:
White Chocolate Peanut Buttercream includes pretty much everything in its name that, upon close inspection, you'll find in the ingredients. The peanuts make up a full 80% of the butter, with the remaining 20% being white chocolate.which is made up of sugar, cocoa butter, whey powder, soya lecithin and vanilla extract.
We rate the composition as very good, although the higher content of simple sugars (14g per 100g of butter) may put some people off.
How we liked the butter:
Another great butter from Big Boy Butter, and again there's nothing to fault in terms of taste. A beautifully creamy consistency, subtle white chocolate flavour and a full peanut flavour. After all, we also liked the regular peanut butter from this company butter, so when combined with white chocolate, it's an absolutely brilliant combination. For any white chocolate lover, this butter is the obvious choice.
Final rating:
A quality butter with a great taste that will please many a white chocolate lover. It should be noted that the combination of this particular chocolate with peanuts was perhaps the most interesting to us.We liked the white chocolate more than the combination with cashews and coconut. On the other hand, peanuts are much cheaper, and butter has a relatively high content of simple sugars.
Keto Nutty from KetoDiet should not be missing in our ranking. This butter is strikingly reminiscent of Nutella in taste, so it will undoubtedly appeal to all fans of this sweet treat. In addition to its great taste, it also offers a very high quality composition, although it contains relatively few nuts compared to other butters. However, it compensates for this shortcoming with excellent nutritional values.
Advantages:
- Amazing taste
- Quality ingredients
- Very soft and pleasant consistency
Disadvantages:
- Higher price
- Low nut content
What we say about the ingredients:
Keto Nutty contains 52.5% roasted hazelnut kernels, xylitol, skim milk powder, whey concentrate, sunflower lecithin and cocoa. It is therefore not too different from the composition of Keto Bueno from the same manufacturer. The nutritional values of both products are also very similar, although Keto Nutty contains slightly more calories. The big positives are the quality protein source and the use of natural sweetener xylitol, which contains fewer calories than regular sugar.
How we liked the butter:
As mentioned in the introduction, Keto Nutty tastes almost like Nutella. It blends the distinct flavors of hazelnuts and cocoa, a tried-and-true combination that won't disappoint. Plus, it has a very smooth consistency, making it easy to spread. I also appreciate the fact that the butter is not over-sweetened.
Final rating:
Similar to Keto Bueno, Keto Nutty has two major drawbacks that keep it from ranking higher. These are the low nut content and the relatively high price. But here again, the butter has very decent nutritional value and the resulting taste is that of aso the lower nut content ultimately doesn't matter. So if you don't mind the higher price, we can highly recommend the butter. You can read more about this butter in our separate review of protein butters from KetoDiet.
The fourth butter from Czech Virus, which we must not forget in our ranking, is Coffeenela. Although we by no means want to give the impression that there is anyin any way, its butters certainly deserve attention and Coffeenela is no exception.
Again, the ingredients used are of extremely high quality and if you like coffee, you will really love Coffeenela for its pleasant and completely natural taste.
Advantages:
- Amazing composition
- Contains real coffee, not just artificial flavouring
- A taste you'll absolutely love
Disadvantages:
- Higher price compared to other butters
Who makes the butter:
Proteinelu is made by the well-known company Czech Virus, made famous by the controversial bodybuilder Filip Grznár and his former sparring partner Pavel Beran.
All raw materials used by Czech Virus in the production of its products originate from E
What we say about the ingredients:
The base of the butter is hazelnuts, which are frankly the best possible choice. Compared to other nuts, hazelnuts are highly digestible and rich in a really high amount of micronutrients. White chocolate is added to the nuts, which, combined with freshly ground coffee, is a real taste experience.
How we liked the butter:
Since we at MyFitnessio can't imagine mornings without coffee, we loved Coffeenella. We especially appreciate the fact that it tastes natural - and it shouldn't when real, freshly ground coffee is used. It's also not as sweet compared to other butters from Czech Virus, which may not suit everyone, but we were totally satisfied.
Final rating:
Even though the butter uses only quality ingredients, the price is already a bit higher. Especially when you compare the price of butters from competing manufacturers. On the other hand, you can rely on the fact that the ingredients used are of the highest quality and if you like coffee, you will 100% love Coffeenelu.
The penultimate place in our ranking belongs to another butter from LifeLike, and this oneThis time, however, it is a nut cream from the Twister series, in which you will find several representatives.
We were most impressed by the coconut variant, which combines 40% coconut, 30% almonds, 20% white chocolate and 10% biscuits. The good composition, the fabulous taste and the great price make this butter a product not to be missed in the ranking
Benefits:
- Very good value for money
- A taste you will absolutely love
- Use of quality ingredients
Disadvantages:
- Higher amount of simple sugars
- Relatively sticky consistency
Who makes the butter:
LifeLike is the family business of Libor Mačalík and his wife Vendula, who have found our market lacking in quality butters. This company combines quality, honesty and above all freshness, which is why you will find in the repertoire of this company not only peanutbut also many other nut butters, often combined with coconut or delicious chocolate.
What we say about the ingredients:
As we mentioned in the introduction, the butter is made up of 4 basic ingredients- coconut (40%), almonds (30%), white chocolate (20%) and cookies (10%). On the one hand, one must appreciate the appropriate use of the ingredients, especially the combination of almonds and coconut to formHowever , the higher sugar and glucose syrup content must also be criticised.
How we liked the butter:
In a word, brilliant. The butter is flavourful in every way, although it can certainly be too sweet for some people's taste. First of all, you can taste the melting chocolate in your mouth, accompanied by the coconut. You don't feel the almonds at all at first, but the longer you have the butter in your mouth, the more pronounced they become.
Very interesting is the addition of biscuit balls, which may be slightly tasteless, but definitely they make the butter unusual and a great remedy if you're hungry.
Final rating:
Quality ingredients, great taste, but still a very good price at which butter is affordable for everyone. Honestly, this cream was one of the tastiest on the market, however simple sugars It contains a lot of simple sugars compared to its competitors, which is why we had to put it at the back of the list. Still, it's a good choice if you want to fight off a sweet tooth.
To finish our ranking, we kept butter, which is a bit atypical in its own way. You won't find any added sugar in it and as the name "bitter" impliesit will please all of you who, like us, don't like over-sweetened butters. Quality ingredients and a taste that is absolutely perfect. This is Lucky Alvin's Bitter Winter Edition.
Benefits:
- Great taste
- Only 4g of sugars per 100g of butter
- Very high quality ingredients
Disadvantages:
- Relatively high price
Who makes the butter:
Lucky Alvin is a Czech company that makes peanut butters that are extremely popular in America. The only difference is that you won't find any low quality ingredients, solidified fats, added salt, stabilizers or flavorings in these butters. All the products of this company are based on quality and purity, you can choose from 100% butters, butters with Belgian chocolate, or "sugarfree" variants.
What we say about the ingredients:
If you look at the ingredients, you'll find that there's nothing to fault. The walnuts and cashews are a really good choice, as is the cocoa powder with reducedand the gingerbread spices used for flavouring have no flaws. We appreciate that the butter is not sweetened in any way. In practice, this means that you get a flavour that is natural and highly intense.
How we liked the butter:
If there's a butter on our list that's definitely not for everyone, it's Lucky Alvin's Winter Edition. We were particularly attracted to it because of its bitter taste, which is really intense. The butter contains gingerbread spice, which itself has a bitter and rather specific taste, but it's exactly what we were looking for. You will really find almost no sugar in it, which is also noticeable in the taste. It's not sweet at all, rather you can smell the spice and the nutty flavour itself fully develops and is not overpowered by anything.
Final rating:
This butter is clear proof that Lucky Alvin has a really wide range and is capable of can produce both sweet butters and butters without any sugar, but with an extremely intense and natural flavour. If you love the natural taste and want to avoid over-sweetened butters, Lucky Alvin is the best possible choice.
Are peanuts or nuts a better choice?
If you've seen our comparison of the best peanut butters, you'll knowyou know that peanuts are a legume and that's where a lot of their benefits or negatives come from.
Of the negatives, it's probably worth noting the high content of antinutrients that prevent the properthe proper absorption of certain vitamins or minerals, or the poorer digestibility. Therefore, the question may arise as to whether nut butters are a better choice. And in truth, they probably are, although they too have their negatives. Nuts are a source of a wide range of vitamins and minerals, but someone of them is phosphorus, which can be toxic to the body in large quantities. It is therefore advisable to rotate all types of nuts regularly and not to overdo it.
Another reason why I would prefer nuts rather than peanuts is their better digestibility. For example, almond butter is much more easily absorbed than peanut butter.more digestible, it doesn't cause most people any digestive problems.
How often should I indulge in nut butters?
Although there is no universal answer, I personally think that eating a nuttyI would recommend no more than two teaspoons a day. On the other hand, most of these butters are so good that you simply can't stay with just one teaspoon and you'll continue to gorge yourself on them. This is a fairly good source of fat, but nuts should be eaten properly after they have been soaked, becauseotherwise they also contain significant amounts of various enzyme inhibitors, which are obviously undesirable for humans.
Can peanut butter be made at home?
We are often asked if it is possible to make homemade nut butters. And of course, it is possible. It's not even as complicated as most of you would expect. All you need are nuts, chocolate (or other ingredients for flavouring), a powerful blender, a spatula and lots of patience. Just blend the nuts with the chocolate and wipe off the edges of the container once in a while. If you want to achieve a stronger flavour, it is advisable to toast the nuts in a pan before blending. - For fitness candy, which we wrote more about in one of our previous articles.

- that you can easily make at home. For example, to make oat milk, simply blend
- pre-soaked oatmeal with water and a teaspoon of your favourite butter, then strain through a cheesecloth and you're ready to go.
However, it's always a good idea to keep an eye on how much nut butter you use. For example, as we mentioned in our article "Does peanut butter make you fat? peanut butters are quite calorific, so it's definitely not recommended to overdo it.
