MyFitnessio is an online magazine focusing on strength sports and bodybuilding, proper nutrition and, last but not least, useful supplementation. As one of the few (if not the only) magazine we can say that we are completely independent. We have over 10 years of experience in fitness, diet and exercise.

No one sponsors us, no one pays us to test and then promote their supplements, and we don't get influenced by other magazines. That's why you can be 100% confident that our reviews and rankings are truly based on our experience alone. If we don't like something, we'll point it out to you.

We don't want you to waste money on dysfunctional supplements while neglecting the ones that are actually worth taking. That's why we also regularly write articles that will educate you andand give you a completely serious perspective on some aspects of training, nutrition and supplementation. Of course, we base everything not only on our own experience that we have from strength training, but also on relevant scientific studies.

Bodybuilding competitor, editor of the MyFitnessio online magazine, member of the Police of the Czech Republic. These are all words you could use to describe me. But most of all I consider myself a bodybuilder, bodybuilding is a life path for me, a life dream.

I've been working out in the gym since I was 14 years old, the beginnings were very difficult and I've heard a lot of thingsI did it wrong at first, I prepared myself, I ate myself and I also invented my own workouts, all for many years. As time went on, I improved my knowledge of nutrition, training and supplementation, tried what worked best for me and kept finding out new information.

One day, however, a turning point came and I wanted to pursue bodybuilding full time, full time under a professional coach, under professional guidance. I started training for my first competitions in the fall of 2018 and I knew immediately that bodybuilding would be my passion. I enjoyed the daily grind, the strictly defined workouts that one has to to complete failure, to never slack off and to follow everything 100%, in short, to dedicate yourself to it 24 hours a day.

If I am not in the gym, I am constantly studying different training methods, proper healthy eating or quality supplementation.I'm glad that I can now pass on my experience to you, the readers, through my articles and expert reviews.

I've had an awareness of bodybuilding and weight training pretty much all my life. My father is a huge bodybuilding fan. He used to take me to the gym with him when I was little and he even made a small gym in his basement. It was just a matter of time before I got interested in bodybuilding.

But for ten years I was actively involved in Taekwondo. It wasn't until 2015 that I decided to quit Taekwondo and start training full time.In the beginning I did everything just according to my father and then also according to my older brother, who is currently doing power triathlon. Gradually, however, I started to educate myself on training methods and diet.

You could say it became an addiction and today I can't even imagine life without exercise. I enjoy the lifestyle, whether it's following a certain diet or training intensely. I am always trying to improve and educate myself in this field. I have no competitive ambitions, I just do it because I enjoy it. I just want to keep improving, do it better and push myself further, both in training and diet.

At the same time, I am also, like my father, a big bodybuilding fan. I'm constantly watching the preparations and training of professional bodybuilders, various competitions. I am also very interested in the history of this sport and its development.

Hi! My name is Katya and I have been working out for a little over 6 years now.
I started working out when I was 15 because I was so skinny and weak and wanted to change that.

Starting out in the gym was probably like every other girl. Upper body workouts didn't mean anything to me and no workout lacked squats. GraduallyI fell in love with the iron and with that my interest in learning more grew. Later came diet, more thoughtful workouts and attitude, and well, at the age of 18 my decision to compete was made.
My first season went beyond expectations, picking up medals at every start and a couple of first places. This only started my engine to go further in the direction of bodybuilding and weightlifting.

In 2021, I successfully completed a fitness instructor course with Fitness Institute and started working as a personal and online trainer. I work mostly with ladies and try to pass on my knowledge based on practice and educationso that they can make the most of their efforts from the start of the training and our collaboration. I mainly focus my practice on hypertrophy training and muscle growth.

I believe that bodybuilding and everything related to it is a thing that one exploresyour whole life and there is always something new to learn. That's what I like about it and that's what drives me forward. You can follow me on Instagram.

Hello! I'm Mirek and I've been working at MyFitnessio almost since the beginning, except for a small break. But before that, I lived for a couple of years only in the gym, doing deadlifts and powerlifting, going to competitions and winning a few medals. Probably the one I value the most is the national record in the WUAP federation. But besides working out, I was also interested in food and supplements, I liked to enjoy my free timeI used to read different researches and professional books in my free time to know as much as possible.

Then when I got the opportunity to talk and write about what the science said and what I had tried on myself, I didn't hesitate for a moment. And that's how we started MyFitnessio, one of the most visitedand, dare we say, the most relevant media in the industry. And even though I have my priorities set completely differently nowadays, MyFitnessio is still my heart's desire. Aside from working out, I also like to go on day hikes in the mountains, play soccer with my friends, and try to have as comprehensive a physical activity as possible.

Sport has been my lifelong passion, I have been close to it since I was a kid. For a long time I was primarily involved in athletics, which also eventually led me to the gym. Any true sprinter knows that to get one tenth of a start, he must therefore sacrifice hundreds of hours in training. And it was this toil behind the curtain, which no one sees, that was my greatest passion. Every kilo in the gym helped me to move a little closer to my goal and I fell in love with the gym very quickly. Even though I don't race anymore, nothing has changed in my relationship with uncompromising training. In my opinion, weight training is the basis for all sports and you simply can't do without it. And since I love all kinds of exercise, the gym is still an indispensable part of my life.
